I'm going to be sowing more this week when my potatos are dug. If they don't come to anything they will make a good green manure for next season  :)

Ah yes Old Tom, the glory days. Of course the viewers never knew of the back-stabbing and in-fighting. To be honest, Mavis was a bit of a bike and Arthur's tantrums were something to behold. At least the children were stared the horror  :nowink:.

Pleased to hear that other broad bean experiments are working too  :D.
My music teacher was right. If you have to make a mistake, make it good and big and loud; with a bit of luck people will think that it was always meant to be like that.

Old Tom said that he remembered The Moog from Wil O The Wisp (old children's programme from 70's/early 80s)  :tongue2:.

I meant the children who watched the programme, spared the luvvie dramas behind the scenes. Not that funny, now I come to explain it, sorry .

I'm sure i've posted on this forum before about not getting a second crop after cutting b.beans back. Have done it for several years with no success :(

Today,  i see pods growing :D
If at 1st you dont succeed etc etc etc  ;) ;)

Maybe a decent carrot crop next!!!

My beans have been following this.... they are steadily developing their second flush of flower.  :)
