Hi,

Have I dreamt it, or is it the case that runner and broad beans can be grown in the same place in successive years?

I know that a lot of the 'old boys' grow their runner beans in the same place each year, but the digging of a bean trench effectively changes the soil beneath them each year IMO, so although the beans haven't moved..the soil has

I move mine round with my normal rotation, but I only train them up Bamboo canes. If I had a proper Munty Frame I'd want to leave then in the same place each year I reckon.
