My chooks are all doing really well.  We have two out of four laying now and one has been crouching for a couple of weeks so hopefully it will be 3 out of four soon!

My problem is that Lilith insists on jumping out of the run   I wouldn't be to fussed but i'm ever so worried a fox will come get her   I know exactly how she is doing it- she jumps onto the nest box of the house then on to the roof and then tries to flap off and ends up the wrong side of the electric fence

My mind can't figure out what to put on top to stop her getting on to the top of the house... does anyone have any suggestions?  Pictures of the house I have are here- http://www.doodlehouse.co.uk/coop_details and you can find pictures of my set up on one of my previous posts.  But in short I need to put something on the top of the house to stop her perching on there and jumping down!

Thanks in advance  ???

Try some plastic pigeon spikes.
I use then to stop cats climbing over the garden wall.

Ohh just googled them they look like they would do the job!  They do look a bit spikey tho, do you think they might hurt them if they tried to climb up there?

I use fish pond netting.

Depending how you have it set up, stringing it between some tall canes will stop them getting up there

Yes they do look spiky but he chickens usually take one look and decide against it.
