:tongue2: Also napy sacks but also I have a dog poo picking up little shovel thing which is a great shape for scooping the poos up. I might be wrong but I was told that chickens don't share the same worms as people so I am guessing that dogs and  chickens don't. It does keep your chickens healthy if you worm them though and it is vital to worm your dogs too.

Blast with the hose when its on the patio but on the lawn especially in this weather , the weekly mow gets it up.   ::)

I use a dust pan and a small leaf rake, got it from b n q, its a hand tool like a trowel but with the flexible rake like end. Gets the poo up realy well and doesnt 'scrape' the grass like a shovel or trowel does.

The soft ones get a squirt so the grass isnt burnt ;)

If I'm cleaning out the coop I just pick it up using rubber gloves and I hose the garden and patio every evening when the girls are ready for bed.   :D

What is it about my kitchen that is so more appealing to the chickens than the back garden!!!   ;-)

my ideal poo picker is a stick and a fire shovel.

Currently, I'm using a trowel and a stick, putting the bits then into an ice cream tub.
trowels just don't hold as much as fire shovels.

plastic dust pans are completely useless - i had one for about 2 weeks before it was so broken it wouldn't hold air  ::)

My biggest tip for the "runny" ones - put a bit of loose, dry soil over them, then pick up with the shovel and stick in the usual way.

I thought chicken poo was good for the garden?

It is but it is too strong in its raw form.  It needs either composting or diluting otherwise it will burn the plants.
