storing garlic
« on: July 01, 2011, 18:33 »
Hi
I've harvested my garlic - about a week ago. I' ve had them drying in the sun. I'm not sure how much time to leave them before hanging them up, how I know they are dry enough and also how to prepare them ie, do I trim back the stalks etc?
thanks
Phil

And I'm 40 and already struggling

ps even when you think your garlic and onions are dry enough for storing - they always need a bit longer ;)

I think that's what I said in my reply to the poster when he first asked:

It's basically dry it, then dry some more. When you think it's dry, dry it again.
