Poorly Chicken perking up
« on: September 11, 2007, 13:20 »
Hi everyone

Pleased to say Gerry is starting to perk up a bit now. I will only be sure she is okay though when her doos are looking healthier! I'm assuming the medicine is probably causing them to be a bit funny?!

Do working medicines change their doos as well? I haven't used the medicine suggested as my Vet gave me something different but I think I will next time.

Does anyone here give their chickens Marmite on bread? I'm told it helps keep illness away and they seem to like it!

:? This is me at the moment!
Thanks

Beth

I've often been told marmite is a good pick me up for chooks, it's full of B vitamins, but little and not often, there is a lot of salt in it !
