This is on my neighbour's plot. They didn't plant it. At first we thought it was an unusual courgette. We have no idea. Can anyone I.D. it please?

I reckon that do be being a silybum marianum, a variegated form of milk thistle.

there are a few slightly diffferent variants in terms of leaf form and variegation.

thisle is a weed [weeds are only wild plants growing in the wrong place  mind i dont always think this when iam digging them up ] this ones pretty enough to keep
