Disgusting I know but my grass looks lovely.
All of a sudden she has realised she loves the stuff and was going round Hoovering it up the other day. Haven't heard of any nasty side effects

I would get it picked up before the dog can eat it. I know it's easier said than done.  My niece's dog, whom I am looking after at the moment, got a nasty dose of campylobacter from eating duck poo, so now we're extra vigilant.

Thanks for the warnings it's the first time we have seen her do it. I usually sweep the lawn most days as I have an 8 year old that complains if there is chicken poo on his football pitch so there isn't usually any about when she comes round .

My dog if given the chance will hoover it up too. Then a little while later he will regurgitate it for us muppets to clean up

Our dogs are the same, we try to keep them away from  eating the poo. Our neighbours dog almost died from eating the poo! She was on a drip for two days.

I know its disgusting, however, my dog rolls in it and eats it... my chickens watch and are amused
