Thank you all so much, I have now managed to source some plants from a local garden center, I was also lucky enough to find some red sprouts too. 

Ill have them in the lotty this afternoon, so fingers crossed x x x

Do i need to nett them?

But remember those sneakly little white butterflies can fold their wings and squeeze through larger net holes.

Go for something about half an inch
