My Garlic are more like spring onions

We planted our garlic end of September, ordinary bulbs bought off the market, 6 heads for £1.50. A couple of stems had fallen over in the week so I dug them up and the heads are huge, much the best we've had in the 4 years we've been growing them. Also had quite a few pickings of 'scapes' over the last few weeks, which have gone down well with the friends I've given them to. I made a delicious pesto with them and walnuts and olive oil.

This was a great thread.  I had on my list to check out the garlic today.  I'll not be bothering now until next month.  They are all still green. Thanks for asking the question
