Watering Squash Seedlings

I feel the weight of the pots, and water plants when the pots become "light".  Takes a while to acquire the knack - but I can pick up varying sized trays or plants now and just beythe feel of the weight know whether they need watering, or not.

When they next need watering stand one in a bowl of water for 10 - 15 minutes, and then compare the weight with one that hasn't been watered
