What with family illness and holidays i havent yet put my beetroot/carrott seeds in am to late if i get them in this week??? Any advice would be welcome.

I am hoping to get some more beetroot in next week.  They might end up being little ones but if they are, they will go beautifully in some vinegar.

you will see that they can both be sown for a few months yet

A late sowing can avoid one of the flushes of carrot fly, although they seem to be around all the time now!

Thats all good then folks thanks, just came back from the plot having been quite litterally blown off!!! sheds and water butts lying every where its carnage!!!!!!
