sweet peas - is this safe?

my mother n law has grown me sweet peas for my grden, chooks are free range, are theysaf with this type of plant?

You won't have your swet peas for very long!

They are perfectly safe and delicious for hens.

ha ha, i may put them in the garden down the side of the house then! as long as i know they won't get ill if they get their beaks on them! Thanks!!
