I have just recieved an email alert Full smiths period in PL24,PL25,PL26 we are 24 can't believe it. It seems so early,but reading everyone's posts march and april has been very dry.

Does the blight warning text and email set up carry on to the next year or do I have to re-register?

With no blight outbreaks yet reported, I don't think there's much cause for alarm.

Any blight you do get now would be early potato blight which is a different pathogen to the destructive late blight.

Have a look at this fact sheet and save the panicing for later in the year.

 just saw your blobb is that what its called :unsure:for blight warning iam in pl30 so its close and scarey does any know how to avoid getting it on my potatoes as they are no where ready yet as they went in late
