Cucumber Food?
« on: April 25, 2011, 14:14 »
Newbie question alert

As my cucumbers are now flowering I guess I need to start feeding - is tomato food suitable or do I need to use something else?  :)

Cucumbers require a high potash feed, so tomato feed should do the trick. :)

My cucumbers were only planted a few days ago.. Will yours be staying in a greenhouse or will you be planting them out ? First year for cucumbers for me!

Dan - it depends on the type of cucumber. Some like Marketmore are meant to grow outside others are greenhouse only. Do you know what type of cucumber you are growing so that proper advice can be given.

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
