 :ohmy: Not seen one yet thankfully but did watch a honey bee hovering over my new chicken house for a good hour! It kept chasing other stuff away  ???

Sonia - the bee may have been a male waiting for a passing female to mate with - I've seen this in my back garden and after a little research I found out that males often hover in a single spot waiting for a female to pass by and mate with and it does give the appearance of them chasing things away :D

killed a cabbage white in my polytunnel yesterday -- I still have a lot of spring cabbage in there

Last year we had clouds of the little white blighters all over and despite netting they manages to get eggs on the leaves, I think because the leaves grew to touch the netting!
