Soggy plot.

I would also like to know what effect the soggyness has on the plants.  I pulled out carrots barehanded yesterday, stamped the soil back down afterwards.  Should I be firming in round the existing crops (beets / sprouts / cabbage / various others?  .

it wont hurt at all specially with cabbages etc .i always firm up after a windy sell .but when its dried out so u dont bruise roots
