Help clearing my allotment
« on: April 08, 2011, 19:43 »
:D. Had a phone call today from the allotment officer and he's gonna send a team of men to help me clear all the rubbish, brambles, grasses and a collapsed polytunnel and generally tidy it up for me to help me get started. Ive managed to dig out a veg patch and planted some potatoes in the week I've had it but help from a team of hopefully hunky men will be much appreciated. I'm thinking diet coke break!??? (maybe not)!!! Xxx

wow thats brill!!!

You get no such help down at my site. I do get envious of what happens on other sites - ours is literally plots (but we do get a free water supply which i know some others dont!)

Nothing like a bit of eye candy when working on the plot. And chez nous, there really is nothing like eye candy! Wish that we were so lucky on our site! Closest we get to hunky help is one of the old boys in a duffle coat and woolly hat, bronzed from days out in the sun ploughing his plot, clutching his hot flask for dear life and offering out his rotovator.....

Much valued help there is aplenty, but there is a bit of a hunk drought. Sigh.....

Consider yourselves lucky, you ladies. Us duffle-coated wooley-hatted, thermos clutching blokes get no help at all  :(

I used to go topless on the plot but my fellow plotters used to waste a lot of my time coming over to get a better look and want to know how long it took to get a body like mine.  8)
Had to be truthfull, quite a few hours in tattoo parlours over the years.

Hi
I will let you know when the lovely men arrive as to weather it's a diet coke break or a Roland cola break but which ever one it is any help is much appreciated. Out allotment looks like it's been left for years and is a mass of brambles, rubbish and rotten veg which looks looks like has been through over the fence the stench was horrendous!! We have cleared align of it but when I wrote a letter accepting the plot I just asked if they would supply a skip to help clear the rubbish I was amazed when they rang offering to send in the men!!!!  Xxxx
