Stupid Swedes

Help, I seem to have a problem with my swedes they are the size of a tennis ball and splitting and going rotten and boy do they hum is this just a sympton of the wet weather or am I doing something wrong. Bloke next door to my plot got blight does that effect swedes at all. Sorry that I always sound so stupid.

The wet weather will have caused them to grow faster than their skins can cope with making them split.

Blight won't affect them as they are brassicas (cabbages) rather than solanaceae (spuds, toms)

dig up dump em . sow more now in another place try adding sharp sand to the soil around the row and rake it well down
