Hi

Took delivery of three more maran hens just over a year old but for free including a hen crate . I had wanted to keep seperate for a while but with this vile weather the spare hut is not suitable . I left it till just getting dark and put the newcomers into the shed. Just been up to check three existing hens on perch one new on perch and two on dropping board . All seems peacefull so will keep fingers crossed in morning. The frost has killed of purple sproy broc so a large plant will be hung from roof on pen to keep they busy.

Thank you I have never put two gtoups of hens together before, I hope they sort out the packing order without pecking to muck

All Ok tonight still only one of the new ones perching but a lovely large egg (not very dark) from on of the new hens
