Why did the chicken cross the road?
« on: December 15, 2010, 03:34 »
No, really.  Why did she?

I have been in my front yard, painting the bus shelter which will soon become my chicken coop.  Painting is one of those activities that leaves you plenty of time to ponder on life, the universe and everything.

So, what would entice one of your chickens across the road?

Never mind chickens, WHY do Pheasants cross the road??? They are soooo stupid.  They walk across the road, change their mind half way across, go back to where they were, change their mind again and walk across the road again and then run right down the middle.  Lost count of how many times I have had to stand on my brakes and nearly crashed so I didn't kill one.  Silly things

Ah, unfortunately you're not allowed to take roadkill that you have killed. As the next vehicle along though, you can. :)

Sheer contrariness seems to be the motivation with most poultry
