Hi.
I recently planted some shallots, onion and garlic on my raised beds.. but theyve taken up so many space and have a few onions left over.
Question is, what to do with them? will they last til next autumn? Can they be planted in spring?  Cheers

You could plant them in any space you have, pack them in as tight as you like, then trim the green shoots to use in stir fries.

Leftover onion bulbs usually go soft and arent worth planting.

My son found an old one this year and planted it in a pot.  It only grew green shoots as Trikidiki says.
