hi all, thank you so much for your words of wisdom!  I have stocked up on a large tub of meal worms and will let you know how i get on!  I will def not let them out on their own until they are coming when called and bribed ! I can't wait until they arrive!  Three more sleeps!  I am driving everyone crazy with my chicken talk already!!

don't give them too many meal worms though as they are very fattening

When I get new girls, I get them used to the "treat call". I shout "chook chook chook chook chook" quickly at the top of my voice. I do it a few times, and they all come running. Give them a treat the first few times then they always think they are on to a winner!
