I am in the process of worming my chuck - I use Verm X - after the 2nd day found a load of round worm in poo on bottom of pull out - is this normal does it mean wormer is working - no more has been seen since on floor, checking random poos as the birds do it and the only one  who seems to have a small worm is the bluebelle who is having a mucky bum too - is there anyone who can give advice on this- should I administer some flubenvet.  people on here dont seem to like Verm X !!! help

Yes use Flubenvet then you can be sure.

If you've used VermX in the past and are still finding worms it's not a good sign for its effectiveness.

If you have found "a load of worms"  then the hen has a very heavy worm burden.  The verm-x will reduce the worm burden but will not kill all the worms.

Flubenvet kills ALL worms.
