bean trenches, can you do the same for a pumpkin ?

i am growing atlantic giant next year so i want to give it as much food as possible, can you do a hole for a pumpkin like you do with a trench for beans and put all your household veg waste in it ? thanks  :)

I don't see why you couldn't do that.  Note that compost doesn't provide much in the way of nutrients, it's a soil conditioner - i.e. helps the structure of the soil and to retain moisture (which is a good thing, but you'll still need to add fertilisers to the soil to feed the plant).
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

My dad always says the best pumpkins he ever grew were just planted straight in to the old muckheaps up the farm.

You can grow huge pumpkins on a manure pile- you don't even need to wait for it to rot down, it'll be happy as larry.
