I assume we put fleece on the plants when there is the threat of frost?  Never had to guard anything before as this will be the first time I've grown something over winter...

All the winter stuff is usually happy without fleece, which is why I was trying to find out what Belvoir was worried about

You might want to fleece any butternuts/pumpkin that are still outside, or else cut them and bring them in.
If it is as cold as forecast it will finish any outdoor tomatoes/peppers, so cut the fruit and bring them in as well, can't think of anything else..........somebody else probably will though

As far as I'm concerned, with my crops I don't fleece anything.

If it's cold enough to consider it, tender stuff should be harvested as it's not going to grow any more.

The other over winter stuff is hardy enough to stand it.
