[Chicken Pete]

This is to let you know that following the rapid demise of 6 chickens some weeks ago,I am very pleased  to let you know that the remainder are now looking much better and back to laying eggs regularly..  Am now feeding them pasta everyday with layer pellets,oyster shells,grit,etc and gradually introducing some lettuce,etc . 
Worrying thing is that now when I come to feed them they get so excited that they have begun flying at me to get the food ( becoming more like vultures than chickens!!! 
Now thinking of replacing my lost chooks with some new ones.
Anyway thanks to all of you for your help and concerned comments, it is nice to have a forum where people are willing to chat and offer advice.

Another good news story. Im so pleased for you. Aren't they funny to watch with pasta, especially the curly stuff, makes me laugh every time!
