Hello, I am making Val's apple chutney for first time and just wanted to check that the weight of apples (2lb) is the weight before peeling and coring? I wasn't sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd weigh before chooping, unless the ingredients list specifically says 2 lbs of chopped and cored apples.

I expect it to say just 2 lbs of apples  or 2lbs apples, chopped and cored...Which means you chop them after they've been weighed
