Beer kit tins
« on: July 12, 2007, 11:13 »
Have just started brewing my own beer from kits and was wondering if i could use the empty tins. Nice size for vases either decorated some how or just as they are without the labels. Would they make good beer traps?

Hi there, if you dig them in deep enough you would certainly get them, it would be like the annual lemming jump! If you were serious about the vases however  the world's your oyster! Cover the outside with a glue and cover in cloth and\or glitter, shells, leather strips ,buttons etc. Or you could do any or all of the above with a paint designed specifically for metal bases, gold leaf or much cheaper Dutch leaf can give fab effects. Have your eyes glazed over with boredom yet? Bet you wish you'd never put this in don't you!
I know less today than I did yesterday, and I knew nothing then!
