Hi there

I have 4 peking bantams and 1 Silver Apenzeller Spitzhauben

The Lavender and Mottled Pekin are 13 weeks old shown in the picture
The Mille Fleur, Lemon Cuckoo and Apenzeller ar 8- 9 weeks old

I am not convinced that they are all hens - can anyone offer any suggestions on the sex of these?

Lavender pekin deffinatly looks like mine did at that age...His name is Harry!! lovely boy. The other pekins look like my girlys did, but i'm definatly no expert. All very cute though.

I was really hoping he wasnt a male - I have just had to let one beautiful cock go as where I live is pretty residential and the crowing in the morning was too loud we called him Harry too!

He looks just like my harry, he was a real gent with the girls, and so friendly. but like you i had to let him go as i'm not allowed boys. He went to a friend with a farm and is very happy there. I saw a post by joyful for pekins you could have a look for that as it has a website you can go to, might find some usfull info or pictures you could compere.
