I'm getting some ex-batts next week and am aware they could be quite bald and the way this lovely summer is going they could be shivering    ...... does anyone have a pattern for the jumpers I've seen in pics?  I'm not a knitter but my lovely MIL is a whizz if she has a template/measurements or instructions even if a proper pattern is not available

he he    I know I shouldn't but I'm almost hoping for some baldy chickens - that is too funny!  listen out for the clack-clicking of knitting needles!  If used I will post pics

Please please dont knit the jumpers or coats for your girls i know they look cute and when you have got a chicken without feathers it is a normal thing to want ot wrap them up against the cold. The feathers will grow back in a short time and with clothes on it will slow the whole process down. Chickens normaly moult at this time of year and if they have a full moult they can be naked but please dont put clothes on them.
