Floods

Commiserations to everyone who is affected by the current floods. We had it in Carlisle in 2005 and I know how bad it is. Luckily my house wasn't flooded but our squash club was under six feet of water. I know many people who were flooded and they are all back to normal now.
I know it's not much help but you will get through it eventually, You'll probably find that it brings people together when something like this happens. It did with us.

Best of luck.

I'd like to add my good thoughts to Donald's.

I am in the fortunate position of living in a location which will never get flooded (Noah would build an arc first).  But I do feel for you and understand how awful it is  :!:

Makes me feel guilty moaning about my waterlogged plot as well. Hopefully the weather will improve soon and we can get back to normal.

Over the water they're suffering a drought - had an email from Alabama about how bad it is over there.

I understand there's been a fair bit in Valencia recently as well.

Anyway, it's now time for me to announce "John's Package Holidays" - Unlike other companies we guarantee the weather. There is only one destination the Sahara Desert :)
