Hello  once again Everybody,
Just wondering whether it would be  alright to mix ducks and  chicks together, and whether the chicken would peck at the duck. And if the ducks will eat the same food as my chicks (chick starter feed).

I've never kept ducks but a lot of keepers say it is best not to mix them.  Ducks make much more mess than chicks and its not fair on the chicks to mix them.  

There will be members along soon who keep both and can give you the best advice

It might be ok to run them together, providing you have a big enough run, but i would'nt advize housing them together, as aunty says, ducks are very messy

i keep both together as was said ducks are very messy but if they have plenty of room then they seem to be ok together mine all eat the same food and i  have chickens ducks and geese together.

I have Ducks and chickens.  I would not keep them together they are to messy and noisy and the chickens do't like it.

 If you are feeding ducklings get organic crumbs as normal ones have chemicals in which  are bad for ducks and can kill them.
