Sweet Peas Ready
« on: June 27, 2010, 22:38 »
My line of Sweet peas is about to explode into fragrant colour, but can I plant the fresh seed at the end of the show straight away or do I wait until next spring?
I wouldn't say I was the best manager for the job,but I would say I'm in the top one! (Brian Clough)

Sweet peas don't do well in summer heat and there's little point in wasting good seed after the current plants have finished. With daylight hours now shortening (believe it or not) due to the solstice, there's little point. I'd wait until next season and you'll get another great show.
