I love making  and eating ice lollies from fresh carton juice. Does anyone make them from thier own juice or fruit pulp ect any unusual flavours or receipies thanks

I saw that guy on river cottage making rhubarb lollies, h boiled them and added them to cream and froze them. they looked nice :tongue2:

Ooooh now tht's an idea of what to do with some of my blackcurrants!  My Brian doesn't like blackcurrant jam because of the seeds, wonder if he'd like blackcurrant lollies??  :D

Jamie you've just given me a fantasic idea, I've had frozen yogurt desert at steam rallies
less fattening than cream.

I've got some rochester ginger in the fridge which would be nice with rhubarb too.

I've just picked some redcurrants I could blend them, press them through a seive to remove seeds and freeze the pulp it doesn't need to be clear like jelly.

I'm also thinking about all those blackberries around the allotment.

Thanks both of you lots of inspiration.

Eaten the last one sigh, Have a few more currants in the feezer.I'll have to but a couple more plants in the autumn and squeeze them in somewhere.
