Okay I no chickens poop and copiously, but what d'ya do about all the ruddy poop loving  flies? My ladies get a total clean out once a week and poop clean once daily, but the flies still seem to be buzzing around. They are a total pain in the preverbial and I just wondered what other do to keep these pests to a minimum.

We only have a few chickens but there must be a few more flies about. I'm not complaining because for the last two years (since the chickens arrived)  we have had a pair of spotted flycatchers nesting in our garden. "Every cloud has a silver lining " comes to mind.
