Through the wash
« on: June 09, 2010, 11:19 »
Well it's one way to germinate seeds  I put a load of washing in forgetting my seeds were in one of the pockets, realised only when trousers were dry  and checked the seeds In the packet and everyone has germinated ( the packet kept the seeds moist) so now I have to plant a whole packet of salad leaves.. Oops

Aren't you supposed to spin salad leaves after you have grown them?
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

:D it was just an ordinary wash at 40 degrees I thought i'd killed them - was a new packet of seeds only planted a few in pots...  Those fast growing salad leaves so in 3 weeks (as it says on the packet) I'll have more salad than the supermarket

I once washed a full weekends takings from our hotel. Nearly a grand. Luckily they were all rolled together so didn't disintergrate but they took some seperating and drying ::)

Never do washing now OH does it all :)
