Lollipop sticks.

Mind you - you do have to remember to put them in the pots!

I've just remembered my toms.  I've got one variety orangey cherry tomato, the other is a big beefsteak type.  Have no idea which is which and they aren't giving me any clues so far...

My brassicas that are going out this weekend are now complete pot luck.  I have a vague idea which is which but it's only vague!! Oh well it makes it all the more interesting I suppose  :tongue2:
Lotty holder since Aug 09... I've FINALLY finished clearing it! On with the p.lanting  ....

After planting my cabbages in my newly constructed cage I had left a bit of room for my sprouts but then could not tell which of two trays they were, one was extra cabbage and the other sprouts! Solution plant a few of each so at least I get some. Next year labels on everything!

I did this last year but now put masking tape on each pot and write on it with a marker pen they stay on reasonably well and if they do start  to fall off they are usually held on by a corner so all is not lost yet!!!!!  :)
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I just love reading that others make the same stupid mistakes as me, it reassures me that I'm not going mad.

I'm in good company then.  Wouldn't it be awful if everyone was very efficient and well organised, where would the fun be?

Oooohh goody, a club for me to join!

I have 4 varieties of tomato...no....5

2 are easy beefsteak and large plants. Then there are plum, sungold, koralik and another one for outdoors. Carefully separated them and labellad a couple of each batch. When sorting the ones to keep and the ones to give away, totally mixed them up!

Looks like I'm in the right place to enrol in the wrong label club!  :nowink:

I've just remembered a friend who was successfully identifying my sprouts etc, at 6", so I think I'll ask her when they have sprouted and grown a bit. 8)
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
