Done it again!
«

Every year I do it!
Every year I say "I wont do that again!"
Every year I do it again!
Sowed Courgettes, pumpkins and squash together and labelled them.
Re-potted a few days ago.(Sat them together but no labels)
Moved them around to ensure they were in "the best" positions over last few days.
Every year I ask "Now which are the courgettes and which are the squash?"

Not just me then
Me too. I knew what they were when they were in modules, it got a bit fuzzy when I potted them on and put them in trays... by the time I got them on to the plot I had several "unidentifieds" and was wandering around comparing leaves.... I'm not entirely sure I've got them right.
Next year I'm going to label every single plant individually. Lesson learned.

I always find there's one plant without a label............what is it? ok I can tell if it's a tomato or a squash or a brassica..........but which one
I find it easier to ditch the unknown than to keep on wondering

My neighbour was admiring mine tonight: "Are they cucumbers?" "errr, some are, some are courgettes and some are squash, I'm letting them fight it out!" Not a clue which is which, but all will become obvious in time

I've done it with my brasicas and cukes - I'll have sprouts, cabbages, brocolli all coming up somewhere in the patch, just not all together, and my cukes - I planted my four seeds, then my neighbour gave me a couple of her seeds, a different variety - and I did the same, moved them around for the sun - I then kept 2, gave 2 to my kind neighbour who let me have a couple of her seeds, and another 2 to another neighbour - I don't have a clue who's got which seed

All of mine have coloured labels (yes they cost more than the white ones but they looked so pretty) with names wirtten on
except the white and red beetroot which just say beetroot but I assume as they grow I will be able to tell which are red and white

Yep, I'm guilty of this too! All my brassicas are planted out with no clue as to what's what - guess I'll find out with time...
My greenhouse Tom's have lost their labels somewhere along the line and as they are all different varieties is somewhat annoying. My outdoor ones I made 100 percent sure were properly labelled as I knew I want to put some in hanging baskets and didn't want to end up with a beef tomato in one of them!

Can I join the no label club as well please.
Brassicas and toms mixed up
And some pots which I have no idea what is in them!
And folks, it is hereditary. My daughter showed me photos on her mobile and said any idea what these are mum

That's why I'm not allowed to do that any more. This is quite a club. I'm feeling pretty good about this. I wouldn't mind, but I take pictures of everything for the blog, and I still managed to mess it up.
I'm pretty certain that 's why Cauliflower and Broccoli is sold together in supermarkets. Drop the labels and you are just guessing.
