Chicken Coops for the Soul - a Henkeepers story by Julia Hollander
I've started reading it and it is an amusing story but also instructive.
Some years ago, I also read
Hen and the Art of Chicken Maintenance by Martin Gurdon which is very funny and would doubtless be much appreciated by those of you who already have your hens.
