Our chooks are 20weeks old now approx when and how often should we treat them for worms, they are on a concrete pad for a run which is cleaned and disinfected daily. We are still new to chook keeping and would rather ask what seems silly questions rather than make mistakes (although no doubt we will).

From what you describe you shouldn't have too much trouble with worms so twice a year should be ample.  Use Flubenvet which is safe and effective for a broad range of worms.  You can start now.

Don't get conned into paying a fortune for flubenvet. My local supplier charges £24.00 for a 60g tub so I bought off the internet for £14.00 with free postage.

I pay £17 for mine from my vets and get it the same day  so yes do shop around some places do over charge.
