Pavers for Shed Base
« on: June 12, 2007, 21:19 »
I have been trying to get second hand pavers or cheap new pavers to use as a base for my Lottie shed.
Been a devil of a job. All the new pavers are decorative and expensive and second hand ones are like hens teeth.

Finally got myself eleven second hand 3ft by 2ft pavers, now struggling to get transport. All the 'Van plus Man' are either ridiculously expensive for the seven mile journey from where the pavers are to my plot or won't put pavers into their vans because of the weight.

Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got a Van plus Man to transport my Pavers to Lottie for £20.
I have booked Friday off work to lay the same.

I love my Lottie ( In a totally appropriate manner of course )

PS. Boy oh Boy has it been wet here in Cheshire this evening, a deluge.

A bit late now I know, but our local Freecycle groups seem to have them every other day or so!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Pavers are down.
They are 3 x 2 and soooooooo heavy.
I am now whacked and need an early night.
Only ten years ago I would have laid the pavers, moved the shed on top and had enough energy to come home and mow the lawn.

Why can't we be like fine wine and get better as we get older  :D
