Got to decide soon whether to raise my wormeries to collect the juice or to leave them flat on the ground.

If I leave them flat on the ground I want to plant something around them that can make use of any nutrients leaking out.

Any ideas other than rhubarb?

Not an easy question to answer as the compost bins often end up in a shady non productive piece of ground  normally inhabited by slugs and snails .

If you do get plenty of sun marrow, pumpkin, courgette and squash will do well.

Thanks for that - will give it a go - this year will be all about experimenting.

It will be a tough one as the worms won't like too much sun.
