Just to keeop you all updated, I've bought 5 bush roses and a climbing rose (it was the only purple one), now those I know I can grow, or I have grown them in the past by planting them and forgetting about them anyway.

Whilst out today, I also spotted that most of whats left in pound land are just labelled "Bulbs".
Any clues to what they need?
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

A socket and some electricity?  ;)

Seriously, they could be almost anything. Description? Picture?
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

I hate to state the obvious, but would suggest a  gardening book - there are plenty on the market for new gardeners. Of course, it is always good to be able to ask someone directly but it will be a lot easier for you with a small amount of basic knowledge.

They had names, but I cant remember them, in the little box where other stuff said "perrenial", these said "bulb".
It was most confusing

It's not confusing if you remember the names
All you can do is plant them and see what comes up, bulbs don't normally need any special attention :)
