Yes folks, I've picked my first asparagus of the year - will be having them for tea tonight - Chicken Oysters (from the Farm - gorgeous :happy:) and rice with asparagus

Had our first pickings a couple of days ago, also enough for daughter to take back to London. Steamed for 3-4 minutes, lightly fried in butter, just quickly, added a dash of lemon juice. Was divine!!!!
