chooks eating haulms

silly question!!

due to a chronic inabilty to plan I have run out of home grown greens for my 2 chooks - but today dug my first early spuds - are the haulms ok to give to chooks? there is a little bell in the back of my mind saying that the haulms are not good to eat?? can anyone help??

No don't feed, as far as I know potato leaves and stalks are poisonous.

We gave our menagerie some potatoe leaves the other day - in seconds all trace had disappeared, no problems yet and that is almost a week ago, thanks for the info
