I planted the rows to near each other and its a * to hoe them i lifted up the fleece and i thought DOH :blink:  however the majority are growing and im chuffed  i know its a long way to go yet!!!!! and my garlic has taken so its a steep learning curve and once again thankyou all for your help and replys  and before i go i popped in aldis and got 6 strawberry plants for £2.99 and my seeds have turned up in the post from the bbc dig in gang

The onion problem is easily solved if you start picking out every 3rd one whenever you need salad onions or whatever, you'll eventually end up with better spacing for big winter onions.
