i have had previous posts about the lack of gardening programmes but here in ireland there is a show about growing vegetables http://www.tg4.tv/ go to (sorry its all in irish ) clair eile on the left hand side and scroll down till you see a picture of a woman and a show called garrai glas its all in irish but has subtitles and i found it helpful even though im not totally fluent... it will be updated every tuesday. Might help you to get through the neverending winter

Thanks for the link, that reminded me that I have to check distances for apple tree pollination.

There are a good few on our site so I doubt i'll need to buy another one but I better check.
