Seeds from £1 shop??
« on: January 27, 2010, 19:47 »
In one of my local £1 shops they have seeds, 4 different varietys, i got the Bean mix as thats all I needed, but they have toms, herbs, general veg mixes..... They also have bags of mixed flower bulbs (I got one of those too to experiment with)

Has anyone used these seeds and if so how well did they do?

I got some raspberries last year from there as well... i got them late though and got a handfull of rasps from them,. hoping for better this year as its had longer to root etc

I got seeds from poundland last year and they were fine! Bought a few herb mixes and bulbs from there this year.

Hi

The Works bookshops are also selling seeds.
Johnson's, 49p a packet or 3 packets for £1. Haven't checked the dates, but the last Johnson's seeds I bought grew well @ 40p a packet.
