help sos mayday and any other way of shouting HELP i got a cast iron open fire place and the back plate has cracked and twisted so i hat this bit need a new one which will cost so far the only one i can fine near me north lincs the want near £90 for as it is part of a kit does any now a web address or reclaim site near me your in hope bgb

If your really stuck let me know, i use alot of reclaimed stone for walls and fireplaces so i think one of the companys i use should have one, but being away up in scotland i think it will cost more than 90quid to get down to you

You could patch it up with fire cement, or if room line with firebricks.......
